  • Christopher Powell

    Sadly, we have heard of the death in March 2022 of Mr Chris R Powell, who lived in Birchington, Kent. He became a member of our Association in 1987 and was a long-serving member.  He taught at various schools in Germany; Berlin from 1962-65, then Monchegladback until 72, followed by 6 years in Cologne and lastly teaching at Hildesheim from 1979 to 1986. He returned to the UK, and lived in Berkshire and then Kent with his wife, Valerie. 


  • Don Kay

    Don Kay died at the beginning of March aged 96 years.  Don and his wife Jean had been a member of the Association since 1994.  He taught at Bourne School, Malaya between 1954-57 and then at Queen's School, Rheindahlen between 1960-72.  They had been married for 74years when Jean died last August aged 95 years.

  • Colin Fanshawe

    Colin served in King's School from September 1970 to December 1975.

  • Laurian Field

    25th Feb 2017

    Laurian served in Lubbecke and Minden from 1957 to 1960.

  • John Fielding

    February 2019

    Rev John Fielding was for 8 years the padre at Windsor Boys’ School in Hamm.

  • Christine Ford

    27th February 2017

    Christine died in hospital having suffered from lung cancer over an eighteen month period. Christine’s funeral took place on 14th March 2017 at Cross Lane United Church, Newton-le-Willows.

  • Don Friswell

    January 2019

    Don taught in Paderborn and Gütersloh. He was a strong supporter of the Mansergh Players in Gütersloh.
