Gareth Morgan reports: Cliff Jones died early October just a few days short of his 91st birthday. A Bangor North Wales boy, he taught in Australia after his first wife sadly died and then after travelling throughout the continent, joined BFES to teach at Lemgo. He was appointed Deputy headteacher of Geilenkirchen School (around 1970) when Tony Stables was headteacher there.
FRENCH, Paul Lt Col MBE (Rtd) died at home aged 87 on May 1st 2025. Paul was a regular contributor to the Bulletin and Journal, promoting the King Alfred School in Plön, where he and his two brothers went to school in the 1940s. He was an active member and Chair for 11 years of the KAS Wyvern Association and did much to preserve the history of the school and promote his belief in a strong physical and mental education.
Colin served in King's School from September 1970 to December 1975.

John Fielding
February 2019Rev John Fielding was for 8 years the padre at Windsor Boys’ School in Hamm.
Christine died in hospital having suffered from lung cancer over an eighteen month period. Christine’s funeral took place on 14th March 2017 at Cross Lane United Church, Newton-le-Willows.

Don Friswell
January 2019Don taught in Paderborn and Gütersloh. He was a strong supporter of the Mansergh Players in Gütersloh.
