    We have heard from Ken Jones that Jim Rhodes sadly passed away after a short illness on 25th March, aged 86 years.

    John Henry Hall died on 29th January 2026.  He joined BFES in 1967 and was teacher and head in the far East and Germany.

    Tim was born in Newport and studied to be a teacher at Trinity and All Saints’ Colleges, Leeds.  He returned to Newport to begin his teaching career before moving on to work for Service Children Education in Naples.
