25th March 2026We have heard from Ken Jones that Jim Rhodes sadly passed away after a short illness on 25th March, aged 86 years.
29th January 2026John Henry Hall died on 29th January 2026. He joined BFES in 1967 and was teacher and head in the far East and Germany.

The Association is very sad to report the passing of Bob Parkin aged 92, a senior member of the HQ BFES staff in the 1970s and 1980s.
June 2025We have recently been informed of the passing of Brenda Paterson (neé Garside) age 91 on 25th June 2025.

Member Alison Porteous passed away peacefully on Sunday 14th May at Compton Hall Hospice in Wolverhampton.

Sadly, we have heard of the death in March 2022 of Mr Chris R Powell, who lived in Birchington, Kent. He became a member of our Association in 1987 and was a long-serving member.
9th March 2029Martyn Powell died early on Monday morning, March 9th 2026 after a long illness. Martyn's funeral will be on Monday 27th April at Cathedral of St Michael and St George, Aldershot.
11th July 2025Diane Falla has reported the death of her friend, Janet Presley on the 11th July 2025.

Ann was born on 2nd October 1936 in Wembley, London.

Jon taught science at Kent School, arriving in 1973. Jon continued his career at Windsor School following the amalgamation of Queens and Kent. He is survived by his wife Helen.
