We have heard from Ken Jones that Jim Rhodes sadly passed away after a short illness on 25th March, aged 86 years.
John Henry Hall died on 29th January 2026. He joined BFES in 1967 and was teacher and head in the far East and Germany.
Ann Jones
June 2020Ann taught in Sennelager from 1964-68; Ayios Nikolaos in Cyprus from 1968-72 and Stanley Fort in Hong Kong from 1974-1990. She lived in Chipping Sodbury in Gloucestershire. She had been a member of our Association since 1995.
Gareth Morgan reports: Cliff Jones died early October just a few days short of his 91st birthday. A Bangor North Wales boy, he taught in Australia after his first wife sadly died and then after travelling throughout the continent, joined BFES to teach at Lemgo. He was appointed Deputy headteacher of Geilenkirchen School (around 1970) when Tony Stables was headteacher there.
Steve was the former headteacher of Akrotiri School Cyprus and died in Cyprus.
