The school served the families of RAF Decimomannu which was an air force base used by the Italian and German forces as well as ours.
I believe the base was used by the Canadians soon after WWII.
It is in my mind that the school opened in the early seventies and it closed in 1997.
We shared the building with the school for German children from the base and their kindergarten.......an interesting experience.
