Obituary: David Rooney

David was Head of King’s School, Gutersloh from 1965-1972.

On his return from Germany he was initially and for 6 years Head of the Neil Wade School in March from where he went on to become the Head of Swaverseay Village College. David wrote books on the establishment of the Village Colleges, a history of the founding of Ghana and a number of military histories.
