Obituary: Jim Rhodes

We have heard from Ken Jones that Jim Rhodes sadly passed away after a short illness on 25^th March, aged 86 years.

Jim was part of Ken’s staff at Kings School, Gutersloh, where he was Head of Design and Technology. He had previously taught at St George’s School in Hong Kong until it closed in about 1975. He remained at Kings School until about 1988 when he returned home to Yorkshire where he tried out his skills as an entrepreneur and opened a small factory making cricket bats. This linked naturally with his original skills as a very good cricketer.
