Obituary: Danny Davies

Danny Davies died in May 2022 after a long illness, but had not previously been mentioned in 'Tourex'.

Danny Davies was a long-standing senior member of staff at Queen's School.

He first served in Tal Handaq, Malta from 1968 to 1971; then moved to JHQ in 1973. He was a Biology teacher and became head of Department at Queens.

Danny was a very popular member of staff with both the pupils and the staff; a larger than life sort of character, a loyal member of No1 Mess. He left SCE in 1990 to return to teaching in Wales.

He had been ill for a few years. He leaves a widow, Pat, and his three children, all ex-pupils of Queens, Ian, James and Joanne.
