Bader First was an additional First school opened in RAF Brüggen in 1975 in newly constucted premises.
The other First school (Barnes Wallace) was already occupying the premises of the former Brüggen school.
In 1995, following "Options for Change", it was decided to close Barnes Wallace but leave Bader school open.
However, there were significant structural problems with the Bader school premises and it was decided that the school would move to the buildings used by the closing Barnes Wallace school (who occupied the earlier Brüggen school location).
