Robert Browning and William Wordsworth First Schools, Sennelager, amalgamated from 2016 to create Attenborough First School (most children transferring at Y5 to nearby John Buchan Middle).
After September 2019, Attenborough has been the only school remaining in the former British Forces Germany area (St David's is much further south, associated with USAF Ramstein).
The school serves families serving in the NATO training area of Sennelager and Normandy Barracks. It is now a primary school, with a foundation stage (FS1) unit, thus catering for 3-11 year olds.
