At its peak, Pegasus would have had about 500 children.
The school was in a poor state of repair and open plan, integrated day teaching was in vogue and the building was unsuitable.
When Merlin and Griffon Schools opened they weren't big enough so Pegasus became the Merlin annex for couple of years.
The school closed in the mid 1970s.
