Brüggen School playground photographed in 1958 or 59.
This location became Barnes Wallis First School in 1974 when Bader First School and Cheshire Middle School were built and opened.
In 1995 Barnes Wallis was scheduled to close leaving Bader school open.
However, the premises of Bader school were causing significant problems and the buildings were demolished.
The closing school (Barnes Wallis) became Bader using the former Barnes Wallis/Brüggen premises.
In the early 2000s with the departure of the RAF, Bader reverted to the original name......Brüggen School.
Brüggen school closed in 2015, along with Javellin Barracks.
