| Notes Following the closure of a Primary school in the town, Prince Rupert day and boarding secondary school was opened. Prince Rupert School was the first BFES secondary mixed boarding school. It opened in 1947 and closed in 1972. The name was then transferred to PRS Rinteln as a day secondary school opening in 1972. | |
