| Notes Gatow school is first mentioned in the 1947 BFES Gazette and later in the 1952 "Coronation List". This is a list of schools that existed in 1952. It is believed that Gatow School initially used the building which became the Havel school. A purpose built First School was opened in 1977 and later converted to Primary. The school was the final one to close following the Allies departure from Berlin in 1994. | |

The school was inside the former RAF Gatow Camp.........now General-Steinhoff-Kaserne.

Following the school closure in 1994 the school has since been demolished.
