Stanley Fort school is first mentioned in the "Coronation List".

This is a list of schools that existed in 1952 (but not necessarily in the described location).

This was the first school I worked at in my time with Service Schools.  In my time the school was housed in a small purpose-built building (from 1935). As the numbers of pupils increased, accommodation had to be increased with a separate classroom across the playground. Use was also being made of a neighbouring block of married quarters.
The school was on the top of a spur of land and you could look out over the South China Sea during playtime duty.
The pictures are of the original Stanley Fort School where I worked from 1967 to 1970.
Soon afterwards a new school was built.

The building shown was not large enough for the children of the Welch Regiment and the smaller number of children whose parents worked at the GCHQ outpost.
A neighbouring block of MQs was semi-adapted as the Infant department.
